You Are Invited

On a sunny spring day in May 2008
4-year old Alexa Middelaer was killed by an impaired driver.
In the two years since this unimaginable loss, Alexa's parents,
Michael and Laurel, have been striving to make
BC's roads the safest in all of Canada.

Working with Government and law enforcement officials,
their efforts have already contributed to dramatic changes.

And now they are launching a bold new initiative that will save
millions of tax dollars and - more importantly - hundreds of lives.

The initiative is called "Alexa's Bus"

It will see that our police officers are equipped
with the most effective means of gathering evidence
at crash sites where alcohol has been a factor.

To learn more about this effort, and how you can help,
please make plans to spend an hour with the Middelaer family
as they build a legacy that will honour their remarkable little girl
and safeguard the lives of all British Columbians.
